May Windstorm is often mentioned by magazines and blogs as the top of organic skincare. I am skeptical until I try. So I got a sample of her uber expensive Youth Dew serum (it retails for 128 euros for 20ml). Let’s see if it is this miraculous as they say!
PERFORMANCE: the May Lidstrom website states that one drop is enough for the whole entire face. I disagree as it sinks in very quickly. I have used for a few days (so it may be that it takes much longer for it to work its miraculous powers) and I did not notice any particular youth or dewy effect.
It is well absorbed by my skin, it is not greasy. I need a cream at the top of it as for my dry skin it is not moisturising enough, at least when the weather is around 10/12 degrees (I am sure that in summer it will be OK).
I checked the list of ingredients and it is a nice blend of oils. Unique? No. Do the ingredients justify the price? in my opinion no. I am also concerned it contains sweet organge and lemon oil as they may cause photo sensibility. Therefore I would suggest using this serum only at night.
I am not blown away by this product. It is nice: but nice does not justify spending 128 euros for 20ml. It would be OK if it was 30ml for 50 euros, in that case would be an OK night serum.
Would I purchase the full bottle? No. I can get excellent serums/oils by Dr Alkalis and RMS at a more reasonable price tag and they have even better ingredients.

SCENT: very mild and gentle. I can smell the rose.
HOW TO USE IT: two to three drops for the face, one or two drops for the neck. Massage gently. It absorbs very quickly. As I have already highlighted due to ingredients that may cause photosentibility use only at night.
With daily use such a small bottle will last around a couple of months. A very costly skincare product.
only 20ml in a beautiful glass bottle with pump.
