The Josh Rosebrook Hydrating Accelerator is the first product in this line that I try and it has quickly became HG material. I was very surprised as I am not a toner/facial mist fan. However, this winter I got some products that are not performing very well and I was looking for something to revive my face as it was looking dull.

Enters Josh Rosebrook Hydrating Accelerator and wow!

I have also tried samples of other products in the Josh Rosebrook line and I am in love with them. The attention to detail, the efficacy of the formulation is unique. This is the best brand that I have tried so far (and I have tried many!!). I will replace my current skincare with Josh Rosebrook products as soon as I finish what I am using now.

PERFORMANCE: calling this a toner is quite reductive as IMO it is a moisturiser in liquid form! It can be applied in the morning and in the evening before putting on the serum and / or the facial oil and it works its magic by helping the nutrients of these products to “penetrate” better into the skin.

The base of the Josh Rosebrook Hydrating Accelerator is aloe vera and not water. This makes a massive difference as, in addition to the excellent herb/EO blend, it performs by enhancing skin hydration. The first few days I did not pay that much attention, but after the third day of use I saw my skin glowing and becoming brighter. I was using the same products that were not delivering and, thanks to Josh Rosebrook Hydrating Accelerator, the issue with dullness and lack of moisture was resolved.

I now use the Hydrating Accelerator every day and it works very well. In particular, if I am in a room that does not have a humidifier, I spritz this HG on my face and my skin goes back to being comfortable, bright and plump. Amazing product!

SCENT: slightly herbal and not annoying. It is not persistent.

HOW TO USE IT: I apply a couple of spritzes on the face and one on the neck. I wait about a minute  for the Josh Rosebrook Hydrating Accelerator to sink into the skin and, when it is still slightly wet, I apply a serum or a face oil over it – no rinsing out! Same thing after I wash my face at night.

I find the Josh Rosebrook Hydrating Accelerator very useful if I travel by plane or anytime that I need a pick me up as my skin starts to become uncomfortable. Just a couple of sprizes and my skin goes back to normal.

A little goes a long way. You don’t need too much as it is soothing and moisturising. Josh Rosebrook is a genius!!!

SWATCH:

it is not greasy, it is not drying, it is just the perfect consistency and texture. You can apply it also over your makeup (it does not deposit too much product and it is not like a waterfall of liquid hitting you!).

CONTENT AND PACKAGING:

60ml (travel version) and 120ml. It is contained in a plastic bottle with a spritzer. I like that it sprays the most finely “dispersed” mist and it is just the right amount of product.

WHERE TO BUY:

Hydrating Accelerator
from: The Detox Market

.

On Instagram Josh Rosebrook said that he should open his European HQ in Dublin soon. This comes as great news as at the moment the distribution in the EU is very patchy with just a handful of sellers with high delivery costs (also 10 or 12 euros per parcel!).

I purchased the product with my money. It was NOT sent by PR and I did not receive any money to post this review.
