After months of teasing and anticipation via his Instagram account Josh Rosebrook has launched his Vital Cream Balm. It is very hydrating thanks to the indian sienna – which is more powerful than hyaluronic acid. But is it worth the wait?
PERFORMANCE: this product is amazing. I am blown away by Josh Rosebrook’s skincare. This is an innovative product as it is as nourishing as a balm and yet it has the consistency of a cream. Therefore it is not sticky greasy or heavy. A little bit (a quarter of a pea size) is enough to moisturise the whole face and neck.
It glides on the face effortlessly and it is a game changer. I have dry skin and when using this product (day and night) along with the Hydrating Accelerator I can see a difference in the luminosity of plumpness of my skin. Definitely worth the wait and highly recommended, especially if you have normal to dry skin (may be far too heavy for oily skins and it could be a hit or miss for combination skins).

SCENT: it smells of blue tansy. I find the scent very uplifting, it is not too strong and it does not linger.
HOW TO USE IT: spritz some Hydrating Accelerator and follow with a tiny bit of the Vital Balm Cream. A little goes a very long way as it is super concentrated.
As it does not contain SPF during the day follow up with a sunscreen (I use the Nutrient Day Cream SPF30).
Applied on the face, after the Hydrating Accelerator. It gets absorbed by the skin in minutes and works as a make up base.
CONTENT AND PACKAGING:
22ml. It is contained in a white carton box and in a honyx/glass vase. The quantity is minimal and I would have preferred at least 30ml of product. True, it is very concentrated and a little goes a long way but the vase is tiny at 55 euros/dollars.

I purchased the product with my money. It was NOT sent by PR and I did not receive any money to post this review.
