Summer in Milan is usually very hot with temperature soaring up to +40 degrees (Celsius). That’s why, even if I have dry skin, I do not use a face oil in summer – it woud be too moisturising. My go to foundation is the Cream Foundation by Kjaer Weis. However, it requires a face oil as a base in order to be applied smoothly. I noticed that without a face oil it looked too heavy and it was streaking. Not a good look! In the meantime Hiro Cosmetics had launched a new liquid foundation called No Doubt Natural Foundation: 9 shades, no coconut oil in sight and super natural look with the rigth amount of coverage.

At first I ordered a coupe of samples as I wanted to try it, to see if it would have worked with my skin type. I got the lightest shades in Fitzgerald 02 and Bow 04. They both work, but I prefer Fitzgerald as it is slightly lighter.

The No Doubt Natural Foundation can be applied with fingers and it goes on efforlessly. Even if I use a gel moisturiser, the foundation does not cling on dry spots and looks really natural, as if I am not wearing anything. The finish is demi matte and it does not look too greasy. Considering the high Milanese temperatures it has also a remarkable staying power during the day. I immediately placed an order with Amazingy and bought the full bottle. This is one of the best liquid foundations that i have tried: the right amunt of coverage (it is not a tinted mituriser) and finish. I love it!

It smells of mascarpone (not in a bad way!). The scent quickly dissipates and becomes unperceptible once applied to the skin.

i like to apply No Doubt Natural Foundation with my fingers as it is like a second skin. I start with a thin layer and apply it from the center of the face going towards the “outer” parts. I then apply a second layer in areas where I have some redness like the chin, the side of the nose.  i use less than 1 pump (about half pump is more than enough for the entire face + second layer).

It can be applied also with a foundation brush and with a sponge. It is very fluid so IMO using these tools waste a lot of product.

On the left Fitzgeral straight from the tube and on the right slightly blended in (no flash).

Fitzgerald on the right and Bow on the left. As Fitzgerald is a perfect mathces for my skin type it barely shows up!

On the left Fitzgeral straight from the tube and on the right slightly blended in (natural light).

30ml. The foundation is contained in a plastic bottle with a plastic black lid. It has a handy pump.

I purchased the product with my money. It was NOT sent by PR and I did not receive any money to post this review.
